Jozef Krop has been a leader in complementary and environmental medicine for over 40 years and has over 50 years’ experience in working with individuals with complex health issues and restoring their wellbeing. He is now retired from the practice of medicine and no longer holds a medical license. He has extensive knowledge in environmental medicine, functional health, homeopathic principles, bioenergetic and bioresonance principles. His thorough and investigative approach works to get to the root of health issues. Thousands of clients have been empowered through his knowledge and support on their journey to restoring health. The clinic is an outgrowth of his vision for a healing centre which considers every individual to be unique, exposed to a unique set of circumstances and needing a custom-tailored approach, using forward-thinking, state-of-the-art technologies.
He is an ILADS-trained, Lyme-literate professional who truly takes a comprehensive approach to patient health and advocacy, receiving a Lifetime Achievement award for his contribution to Lyme advocacy work in 2010.
A leader in advocating for people with multiple chemical sensitivities, his former medical practice was used by the Ontario government to begin the process of establishing guidelines for dealing with environmental causes of illness (1985 Thomson Report). He had a leading role in launching the Kwinter Bill in Ontario, which enshrined patient’s freedom of choice in the Medicine Act of Ontario in 2000.
In 2017 he was awarded the Groundbreaker Award for pioneering innovation in Canadian medicine, by the Rogers Prize foundation for alternative medicine. He is also the recipient of awards for humanitarian and innovative practice from the American Academy for Environmental Medicine and the Canadian Academy of Environmental Medicine, and the Institute of Integrated Medicine and of the the Legacy Continuum Award from Physica Energetics . He was nominated for the Dr. Rogers Prize in Complementary Medicine in 2011.
His book, Healing the Planet: One Patient at a Time: A Primer in Environmental Medicine (Polish Edition: Ratujmy sie: Elementarz medycyny ekologicznej), a user-friendly guide in protecting human health in a polluted world.
